(Annie Black) – AnniePAC announced today the endorsement of Wes Boger for Mesquite City Council Seat #5.
As noted in a profile featured in The Progress, Wes grew up in Monterey, California and went to work as a two-way radio installer after graduating from high school…
“By the age of 25, he was asked to be the General Manager of a new Silicon Valley start-up company entering the then-new field of Internet radio. Wes successfully led that company through the dot-com crash without having to lay anyone off or go into debt.
“But at the age of 30, Wes decided he’d had enough of big city life. He had started an online side business which had achieved some success. This would allow he and his wife to live wherever they wanted. They chose Mesquite and moved here is 2005.”
“Wes said that his experience in starting and leading small businesses could be valuable to the City at this difficult time.”
Wes is married with two sons who attend Mesquite public schools.
“Every community in Nevada is facing tremendous challenges trying to rebuild our economy that’s been devastated by Gov. Sisolak’s shutdown orders,” said Assemblywoman-elect Annie Black, founder and president of AnniePAC.
“Wes is a conservative small businessman with experience in creating private sector jobs who’s also been extremely involved in our local schools and has the support of our law enforcement officers.
“Our community will be well-served having Wes represent us on the council,” Black concluded, “and AnniePAC is proud to offer him our endorsement.”

QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Wes has been on many ride-alongs with the police department to better understand the needs of and what officers experience. In my nearly 14 years of law enforcement experience, and over 7 years here in Mesquite, I have met few people who have a more enthusiastic and genuine desire to serve his community and schools. I am honored to speak for our organization and submit our endorsement for Wes Boger Mesquite City Council Seat 5.” – Lawrence Stewart, President, Mesquite Police Officer’s Association
